Functional brains

Feel like you dont care about anything right now? Even when the sky is falling, you'd still wanna lay in bed? Do you think carefree is the word to describe it? NO,I don't think so! UNMOTIVATED is the word.

Just imagine waking up one day, and thinking about our dreams and goals which are yet to be achieved.. Ever wondered why it takes us so long to get down to work to try and achieve it? In my opinion, its just the lack of motivation which is indeed very common in today's generation.

I'm sure we have inidividuals around us who we can talk to about anything, but most of the time.. the advice normally given to us, sound exactly like what we would read in a self-help book or one of those motivation courses( which again, most of the time gets you motivated for a week or so, then dies off-due to the lack of interest in teenagers these days :p )
- "You will be fine, just get more serious in life "
- " You know you can do it, you're just not setting your mind straight "
- " Think about that goal everyday, and you'll achieve it '' ( a misunderstanding of the law of attraction I must say, you have to work hard to achieve something..you dont just think of it, and poof its right infront of your doorstep. You think of it, in order to get your mind working towards it my friends )

If you've heard these lines from many others, what makes you wanna listen to another one?
Your level of hard headedness isn't gonna change in that split second just by listening to the person now is it? Therefore, my point is, if it doesn't work to get motivation from someone.try getting motivation IN someone.. it has a higher chance of working..

Talk to that person, their experiences, learn from it.. If they can do it, why can't you? After all, we are all human , right? We are born with functional brains, its just whether we wish to use it the right way, or not.. :)

Live Your Life

Live every moment like its gonna be your last :) why? you never know what happens to you later, i'm not being pessimistic , but i'm being realistic . You could have everything planned in your head now, or on paper,or in the technology filled world, saved in your laptop.. but could you bet your life that it would work out the exact same way you planned later? My point here is, take it easy, and most importantly.. breathe. Ofcourse, you could,or should always plan ahead, but worrying about whether it will work, that, to me.. its a waste of time, and brain space..We could,or rather we SHOULD use that precious time to enjoy every single millisecond , every single minute, hour, day, and so on.. because at the end of the day, we can't guarantee that we'll wake up the next day, only to find ourselves snoozing our alarm clocks for another 10 more minutes of extra sleep:) come on, i know its a daily scene in the mornings for most of us..the rest of you snooze your alarm clocks for 20 minutes :P

Enjoy, even if you have a big math test in 5 minutes, take a chill pill yo ;) you can't change the fact that you will be taking the test in a while, nor can you turn back time, face it. So, just do it. Be done with it. If you think you didn't do well, then prepare for it earlier the next time round :)
Again, why waste that golden time frowning and cursing under your breath, when you could do something else , like.. smile, or make another friend's day by telling them whatever I just tried to convey to you above ? :P And hopefully, by the time you finish doing that, it'll be time for you to sit for the test. Relax, is the word .

Live life to the fullest, cos you never know, you just never know .. :)

Cup'a love,anyone?

Feeling like I've just cracked the code of the Aztecs, a whole gush of feelings came rushing into me, and thats when I felt, and learnt something I always thought I understood these past years. But the truth is, no. The old-easily-taken-for-granted phrase, 'One day, we will all find true love' is very misleading indeed..and not many of us give much thought to it. This thought will eventually cross our minds at some point, but don't we wonder when is that 'one day' and what is meant by that 'true love' everyone keeps talking about? Ofcourse, every individual is entitled to their own opinion, so let me just share mine with you :)

True love? Most of us just push those two words away, thinking it has always got something to do with life partners, boyfriends, girlfriends etc..this is obviously the reaction of someone who has experienced a bitter breakup (or several bitter breakups) or someone who just..wants to be the "unique", "odd" one out, for being rather synical yet attractive in their own way. Here's a thing, true love doesn't always have to be linked to a lover now, does it? It can relive in the form of love towards parents, pets, siblings, anything.. but most importantly, towards yourself.

Love yourself, and that is what true love actually means. If you love yourself, even if you THINK (and usually, this comes from what others judge you to be) you're fat, skinny, have a broad nose, or a wide forehead, then my pal, you've found true love:) Think 'bout it, why would anyone have a reason to love you, when you yourself, living it that body, can't accept yourself for who you are? My point is, this kinda love (sorry, i got tired of the word true love:P) can be found within yourself. Try sticking this on your wall , "I've found true love in loving myself". I'm pretty sure you'll feel damn good bout yourself later !

And that one day I mentioned earlier, will come when you do find this treasure. As for me, I found mine after glueing my eyes on the TV screen, with the thought of 7 add. math sums left to do at the back of my mind, watching Penelope. But, hey, it was worth it, wasn't it?

Cheers !:)
